To place an ad for the first time, you will need to
sign in as a new user.
Click on "Credit Union
Classifieds", and select
"Submit An Ad".
This will bring you to the "Login"
screen. Be sure to review "Credit Union
Classifieds Guidelines" to
ensure your ad qualifies to be published. Click on
"New user, click here to sign up".
Enter a user name (this will be
your login name for the Credit Union Classifieds).
If your user name is accepted, you
will see the "New Member Set-up" screen. If your
user name is not accepted, this means it's in use by
another member and you'll need to select a different
user name.
In the "New Member Set-up" screen,
you'll fill out a form with membership verification
information. This information is needed because the
Credit Union Classifieds are a service for members only. At this
point you will also be asked for a password (this
can be anything you'll be able to remember). This
information can be updated at anytime by clicking
"Update member info" while you're signed into the
Credit Union Classifieds.
After the initial sign-up, you
will be able to go directly to "Submit An Ad" where you can
submit an ad by clicking on add a new item or delete an ad you've previously submitted.
Please keep a copy of your "User Name" and
"Password" in a secure place for your reference.
That’s it! Your ad will appear in
one or two business days!
How long
will it take for my ad to appear in the Credit Union Classifieds?
Once your ad is submitted, it will
go into a holding pool until it has been approved.
This process will take one to two business days
(business days are Monday – Friday). When your ad is
approved it will appear in the on-line Credit Union
Classifieds immediately! Your ad will appear for 14
days and then will be deleted from the Credit Union
Classifieds. Be sure to review "Credit Union
Classifieds Guidelines" to ensure your ad qualifies to
be published.
The Credit Union Classifieds is a free service
for Linn Area Credit Union members only.
Linn Area reserves the right to
edit and/or reject any ad.
You MUST include your home phone
number in the Contact Info field when submitting an
ad. No work numbers permitted. Addresses can
only be included for garage sales and property for
sale by owner.
Ads are limited to 250 characters (including spaces)
and are published in the order received. No ads will
be held to be run on a specific date. Ads run for 14
days and are then automatically deleted. You must
resubmit the ad each time you would like it
published.
E-mail addresses can be
included on ads.
All ads must be for personal items
for sale, trade or wanted. Any ads of a commercial
nature (offering items or services for sale with the
intent of making a profit) will be rejected.
