re-order the same check style or order a new style.

How
do I sign up for Direct Deposit?
You can sign up for Direct Deposit by speaking with
your employers’ payroll officer. They will need our
Routing #, which is 2739-7289-7 and your account #
which can be found in many places: the #’s in the
bottom center of your Linn Area checks, on the member
card that was issued when you opened your account,
etc.

Why
is there a difference between the balance and
available balance on my account?
There are several reasons why your balance and
available balance may be different.
For Share Savings accounts, a minimum of $5.00 must
be kept in the account at all times.
Sometimes a hold will be placed on deposits. This
normally happens when an out of state check for a high
dollar amount is deposited into your account.

Does Linn Area Credit Union offer Overdraft
protection?
Overdraft Advance is a privilege granted by Linn Area Credit Union that covers any overdraft amount (up to $500, including fees) without having to deal with bounced checks and return fees from merchants. The $25 overdraft fee still applies for each transaction. As long as you follow up and cover the overdraft and fee amounts, you will continue to qualify for Overdraft Advance. Linn Area Credit Union also offers overdraft protection that’s tied to your Linn Area credit card. In the event your account becomes overdrawn, a cash advance will be taken from your Linn Area credit card in increments of $100. Don’t have a Linn Area Credit Union credit card? Click here to apply.

Are
my credit union deposits federally insured?
Deposits at Linn Area Credit Union are federally
insured to $250,000 by National Credit Union
Administration (NCUA), a U.S. Government agency.
How often will I receive a statement of my accounts?
Members who have a checking account with us will
receive a statement every month, provided there is
activity on the account. Members who have other
deposit types will receive a statement quarterly.
Do I
get copies of my cleared checks back?
LACU does not return cleared checks. However, you can
view and print a copy of your cancelled checks using
our online banking service,
Home Financial Services.
You will also always have the duplicate copy of your
written check in your checkbook.
In the event that you need us to print a copy of a check there is a $1.00 charge
