Summertime usually means a vacation or road trip of some kind. (Are we there yet?) Before you head out, here are some things to consider:
DEBIT CARD - If you’ll be using your debit card outside of Iowa and you normally don’t, please call 378-0101, x207 and let us know. Otherwise we may assume it’s fraudulent activity and freeze your card. Not being able to get cash or spend money when you’re away from home would be a real bummer.
CREDIT CARD - If you have a Linn Area credit card, call us at 378-0101, x207 and let us know you’ll be using it in a different-than-usual spot. If we think it was stolen and being used fraudulently, the card will be deactivated to protect you.
CREDIT CARD PART 2 - Did you know LACU offers a rewards Visa card? You can use points toward your vacation (hotels, flights, attractions, etc) and also earn points with what you spend on vacation – all that money on gas might have some benefits! For details, click here. Apply online here.
MOBILE MONEY - Access your account information from your mobile phone - it works on any phone that texts (not just smartphones)! It’s a great way to keep tabs on your account while you’re out and about.
GET FROM POINT A TO POINT B - The most crucial part of a road trip would be a vehicle. Car, van, truck, SUV, RV, motorcycle – whatever it is, make sure you’re set.
