Steering with heart and mind.
The Board of Directors consists of nine voting members and a small group of non-voting associate members. Our directors are hardworking volunteers who set the policies for your credit union and consistently work to achieve one goal: improving our members’ financial well-being. Elections for our Board of Directors are held every April at our annual meeting. If you’d like to become involved in running YOUR credit union, contact us at email@example.com. Associate Board of Directors
Linn Area Credit Union’s Board of Directors created the Associate Board of Directors in 2022 as part of its succession planning process. Our goal is to find volunteers who have the talent and drive to become a board member; appoint them to the Associate Board; and familiarize them with the board processes. Associate Directors gain valuable experience in how to run a credit union, so when a Director departs the board, an Associate Director will be prepared to move into the open board position. Associate Directors attend regular board meetings and participate in discussions and committees, but they do not have a vote in board motions, decisions, etc. If you’re interested in becoming a member of the Associate Board of Directors, we would love to hear from you! Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
