The Teacher Store is a nonprofit organization that provides free classroom materials and supplies to area educators in exchange for Teacher Bucks. Now a mobile unit, the Teacher Store is made possible by Linn Area Credit Union and generous donors. Learn more about the Teacher Store.

Storey Hour

FREE SPECIAL EVENT for all area K-12 educators! Join us for Storey Hour on Thursday, November 15, from 4-6:30pm at Storey Kenworthy Office Interiors and Products, 1495 Boyson Road in Hiawatha. It’ll be a great time to use your Teacher Bucks to get supplies from the Teacher Store, feast on tasty treats, score some awesome freebies, and mingle with other area K-12 educators. (Sounds like a fun happy hour or so!) Please bring your school ID because we’ll ask to see it at the door.

Teacher Bucks

Educators can earn Teacher Bucks by opening an account, taking out a loan or getting a credit card at Linn Area Credit Union. We will be announcing more ways to earn Teacher Bucks shortly! (One Teacher Buck goes a long way; you will get MANY dollars worth of materials. Yayyyy!

We gladly accept donations of new supplies from businesses, organizations and the public. Monetary donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase additional inventory for the store. We will also accept donations of gently used large-ticket items, such as desk chairs. Every donation is much appreciated!
