New name. Same heart.
On May 6, Linn Area Credit Union will become Corda Credit Union.
“Corda” is the Latin word for hearts, which is fitting for a credit union that has worn its heart on rolled-up sleeves for nearly ninety years — providing our members strong financial solutions with both compassion and expertise.
Although our name is changing, we remain the same credit union, deeply committed to our members and communities. Our new name is welcoming to everyone in our field of membership, and it will help us overcome limiting perceptions that only people living or working in Linn County can join the credit union.
As Iowans, we strive to build lives and legacies that stand the test of time. We invest our heart into everything we do. As a credit union that is proud to serve our state’s families and communities, we keep our heart at the center of who we are as Corda Credit Union — in both our name and our actions.
Because when it comes to building something people can be proud of, it all starts with heart.
