More than 160 members attended the 2017 annual membership meeting and Engage & Grow Expo on April 27 at The Hotel Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids.
Members and staff mingled at the booths and chatted about Linn Area’s products, services, and all things financial! We highlighted our contributions to the community in 2016, including our employees’ volunteer initiatives and Linn Area’s support to local nonprofits. Attendees were treated to a screening of a video that Linn Area produced to showcase The Teacher Store, a nonprofit organization that provides free classroom supplies to teachers.
President/CEO Jenny Lorenz and Chairman of the Board Kent Baker spoke about the credit union’s accomplishments in 2016. We did not hold an election since only incumbents were nominated. Congratulations to Margaret Eichhorn, Mike Gillen, and Nick Wagner, who will be continuing as directors on the Linn Area board.
