Linn Area Credit Union has donated $10,000 to HACAP to help the nonprofit organization provide food and other needed supplies and services to area residents affected by the derecho.
The credit union also donated $10,000 to the Salvation Army to assist in feeding local families in need due to the storm.
“We are very appreciative to have Linn Area Credit Union’s support during a time like this when so many of our clients are in a greater need to due to COVID-19 and recent storm recovery efforts,” said Chris Ackman, Communications and Volunteers Manager of HACAP.
