Linn Area Credit Union Partners with Local Entertainer

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, July 26, 2016 – Linn Area Credit Union has engaged Alisabeth Von Presley to be a brand ambassador for the financial institution.

Widely known for her vocal abilities and dynamic, theatrical styling, Von Presley competed on American Idol: Season 12, which saw her advance to the Hollywood Round. On the heels of her debut CD, “My Foolish Heart,” Von Presley frequently performs locally, including making appearances at Brucemore, NewBo City Market, and the McGrath Amphitheatre.

“My family’s been part of the Linn Area Credit Union family for a long time,” says the Marion native, acknowledging that she had been a member herself before she moved to New York. “It’s awesome to be working with them.”

Von Presley will be performing with her band, Four Star Fate, at NewBo City Market’s Rock the Block event sponsored by Linn Area Credit Union. She will also make public appearances and provide regular social media posts on behalf of the credit union.

“We’re really excited about the connection Alisabeth has with the youth culture in our community,” says Curt Gandy, Linn Area Credit Union’s vice president of marketing. Gandy adds that this demographic is one of the largest growing segments of the population and very important to the organization. “Linn Area Credit Union is enacting a variety of initiatives to creatively engage with this audience.”
