During April, we collected food and personal care items to support the Chrome Divas of Cedar Rapids’ 16th Annual Cedar Rapids Awareness Ride, their annual fundraiser for Linn County Veterans Affairs. Linn Area team members across all of our branches contributed more than $750 worth of supplies, including socks, undershirts, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, and canned goods. Linn Area Credit Union also donated $500 to the cause. (Woot!)
Alicia Burnett from the Chrome Divas of Cedar Rapids came to the Blairs Ferry Road branch to pick up the items and receive the check. All in all, the Chrome Divas of Cedar Rapids raised more than $8,500 for Linn County Veterans Affairs.
