Samsung Pay FAQs

Which Linn Area cards can I use with Samsung Pay?

Oh, happy day! Samsung Pay can be used with Linn Area credit cards and debit cards.

How do I add my card into Samsung Pay?

Such a great question! We’re gonna let Samsung take that one.

Can more than one card be stored in Samsung Pay?

You betcha! You can add up to 10 total payment cards (any combination of debit and credit cards!) to Samsung Pay, plus an unlimited number of gift cards.

How do I make my Linn Area card my default card?

Samsung Pay doesn’t offer the option of a default card. When you open Samsung Pay, the most recently used, viewed, or added card will display. (So the key is to use your Linn Area card all the time!) If you want to use your Linn Area card after using another card, here’s how you switch.

How much will it cost me to use Samsung Pay?

Zip, zero, zilch!
(Note: Message and data rates may apply – check with your cellular communications provider.)

What if I lose my phone?

Samsung Find My Mobile to the rescue! This slick little deal can show you your phone’s location. It also lets you remotely ring your phone, lock your device, erase everything on it, and more. If your device is ever lost, misplaced, or stolen, your payment information will not be accessible without your fingerprint or Samsung Pay PIN.

When you lock Samsung Pay using Find My Mobile, all payments will be disabled on the device. For additional security, Samsung Pay will request Linn Area and other card issuers to suspend any transactions made from the device. If you locate your device, you can quickly unlock your cards by authenticating your identity by scanning your fingerprint or entering your Samsung Pay PIN. Note: Please retain gift card confirmation emails in the event you need to re-add cards to Samsung Pay.

If you notice any suspicious activity with your account or if you are unable to lock Samsung Pay, contact us immediately at (319) 892-7411.

What should I do if I have an issue adding my Linn Area cards to Samsung Pay?

Samsung Pay requires an active Internet connection when you add a card, so make sure you’re connected to the Internet via a Wi-Fi® network or your mobile data connection. If that’s not the issue, contact us, and we’ll walk you through it!
